A limited number of scholarships are available to send children 8-14 years old to week-long Youth or Family Camp. Friends of Camp Concord is able to fund scholarship for over 300 children and families annually. Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first served basis for youth and family camp. Applications are accepted up until late April/early May. (Please contact the main office for the exact date each year.)
Scholarship recipients will pay a nominal 425 fee for youth camp and family camp when registering. Leaders-In-Training (LIT), Counselors-In-Training (CIT) or Basketball Camp scholarship recipients pay 10% of the program cost. |
(Ages 8 to 14 or entering 3rd through 9th grade in September
2010)
There are 5 one-week long sessions from June 26–July 31, 2010. Campers
bunk in rustic cabins under the 24-hour supervision of an experienced Camp Counselor
at a ratio of one to six. Each morning, camp begins with a hearty breakfast preparing
your child for a full day of outdoor experiences. Youth campers will experience
archery, arts & crafts, hiking, environmental games, rafting, canoeing, swimming,
camp fires, making new friends and of course, much more!

Family Camp is an experience that allows parents and children to
play together in a fun and beautiful
camp in the Sierra Mountains. It is a perfect setting for a relaxing
and/or adventurous vacation. Highlights of the Family Camp schedule
include campfire, hiking, crawdad fishing, sports, healthy and delicious
meals, and arts & crafts. Families are accommodated in a rustic
cabin with convenient access to restrooms, hot showers, laundry facilities
and the main lodge. |
